Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Tougaloo College in 1996, a Master of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1999.

Mr. Brown has more than 15 years of experience in scientific research.  He holds four (4) international patents in chemistry and has published abstracts and peer-reviewed journal articles. In addition, he has extensive teaching experience at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Tougaloo College in 1996, a Doctor of Philosophy degree in physiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University in 2010.

Dr. Brown has more than 10 years of experience as a scientific researcher in chemistry and biology, having led research teams in both academia and in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to her research, she has teaching experience at Swarthmore University as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute post-doctoral teaching fellow, and at the University of Missouri-Columbia.   She has published abstracts and peer-reviewed journal articles.

Dr. Pichardo recieved her Bachelor Science degree from Spellmen College in 1996 and her Doctor of  Philosophy degree in physiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002.  

Dr. Pichardo has more than 10 years of experience in scientific research and teaching.   She is the Director of Lean Manufacturing for Vertical Home Gardening.  She is the former Director of Education and Communications at the environmental entrepreneurship incubator, Green Worker. She has years of experience consulting with organizations to develop and teach how to think like entrepreneurs.  Sonia is a former board member and a founding member of the Green City Challenge Advisory Board.
